Mark Griffin - Treasurer
|

Mark Griffin began his career at Windsor Federal Savings in July of 1974 as a Manager Trainee. He was promoted to Vice President of Operations and Treasurer in 1982, appointed to the Board of Directors in 1983, Executive Vice President in 1986 and President, CEO and Treasurer in 1989.
Throughout his 33 year career at Windsor Federal Savings, Mark has been connected with a number of civic and non-profit organizations. He was a Founding Member and Board Member of The Caring Connection, First Town Downtown and The Huntington House Museum. He was also a member of the Shad Fest Bureau and Board Member of the Tobacco Valley YMCA.
Active in the Boys Scouts of America, he was an Assistant Scout Master, a two-time District Chairman for the Metacomet District, Executive Committee Member for the Long Rivers Council and was the recipient of the Silver Beaver Award and District Award of Merit. A Windsor resident since 1976, he showed his devotion to the community by getting involved in The Windsor Chamber of Commerce as their Treasurer and President in the 80's. In 1993, he received the Windsor Chamber's Jerry Hallas Award.
An avid golfer, Mark brought his management and financial expertise to Suffield Country Club where his appointments included President, Board of Governors, Chairman of the Greens Committee and Finance Committee Member.
Currently, Mark is a member of the Economic Development Commission for the Town of Windsor and President of The Windsor Historical Society.
A 1970 graduate of Northwest Catholic High School he continued his education at St. Francis College in Maine, graduating in 1974 with a BS in Business. He also attended the Hartford Graduate Center. During his business career, Mark continued his education through the Institute of Financial Education's School for Executive Development at Arizona State University.
Mark and his wife Sandy reside in Windsor. Hobbies include; golfing, skiing, snowmobiling, home improvement projects, yard work and reading.
