Richard Vassallo, Esq.
|
| |
Attorney Richard A Vassallo was born in Hartford, CT. He grew up in Windsor, graduated from Windsor High School in 1981 and attended the University of Connecticut. He graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and continued his studies at Western New England College School of Law. While pursuing his Law degree he served two years on the Western New England Law Review, first as a Staff Member then as the Managing Editor. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1989, and that same year was admitted to the Connecticut bar. He began his legal career working for the Connecticut Judicial Department in the Hartford Courts. He entered the private practice of law in 1991 as an Associate with the Law Offices of Stephen C. Barron. In 1987 he partnered with a school colleague to open a practice in Suffield, CT. In 2005 he left that practice and joined the firm of O'Malley, Deneen, Leary, Messina & Oswecki.
Richard has lived in Windsor for all but 10 years of his life (and even then he resided nearby in neighboring Windsor Locks). He resides in the Poquonock area with his wife Susan and daughters Anna and Julia. He attributes his pursuit of a legal career to a spark of interest ignited by a Windsor High School business law class, and thus recognizes the importance of our schools in shaping the future of our children.
